My page is very bare as the moment. Hey! At least it loads really fast!

I passed Elements 2 & 3 on July 6th, 2013 and my General Class license appeared in the FCC database on July 10, 2013. I didn't really study much before the exams as I've been an electronics hobbyist since I was about 8 years old - tearing things apart and seeing what I could do with the parts I gleaned from the poor victim. Sometimes I brought new things to life; sometimes not. But it's been a learning experience and I can finally check one thing off my bucket list. Of course, now I've added Amateur Extra to the bucket list.

Amateur radio interests include: CW, QRP, building my own antenna(s) when I have time, trying to bounce 2m signals off a satellite, ARES, local club, getting on HF sometimes, etc. etc. etc...
